Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the difference between 12V 100Ah and 12V 100Ah MINI Bluetooth? (WattCycle)
A1:
There is only one difference between them: Bluetooth Control. They are the same as the other parameters, including size, weight, cycle life and so on.
Q2: How do I monitor the battery status?
A2:
The 12V 100Ah MINI Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery, equipped with an integrated Bluetooth module, enables convenient monitoring of the battery status using your smartphone through the App.
This application is independently developed and designed by Shenzhen Wattcycle Power Co., Ltd. lt specializes in monitoring lithium batteries, providing real-time status readings such as the voltage of each battery series charging and discharging current, alarm prompts, protection status, etc. This allows users to clearly understand the health status of lithium batteries and ensure their safe use.
You can download the app by scanning the QR code in the user manual.
Q3: How can I download the App?
A3:
Apple APP Store and Google play. (QR code to download it is in the user manual) Download and open the app to directly scan the QR code and connect the battery or search for nearby Bluetooth batteries.
Q4: Dose it still have the low-temp protection?
A4:
Yes, it does. It is recommended to charge it between 32℉ (0℃) and 122℉ (50℃ ).
Q5: How to charge WattCycle 12V 100Ah MINI Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery?
A5:
Charging Your WattCycle LiFePO4 Battery: 3 Easy Options
1. Solar Power:
Harness the sun's energy! With effective sunshine for 4.5 hours a day, a 300W solar panel system can fully charge your battery in a single day.
Solar panel flexibility: Larger solar panels (greater than 300W) can also charge your battery, but charging times may vary depending on sunlight intensity and duration.
2. Generator/Alternator:
Compatible power source is key: Ensure your generator or alternator provides a DC output. In this case, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect it to the battery.
AC output option: If your generator/alternator uses AC output, consult our recommendations for a suitable battery charger to connect it to your battery.
Charging recommendations:
Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.6V ± 0.2V
Recommended Charging Current:
① 20A (0.2C): Charges the battery to 100% capacity in approximately 5 hours.
② 50A (0.5C): Charges the battery to around 97% capacity in approximately 2 hours (faster charging, slightly lower capacity).
3. LiFePO4 Dedicated Chargers (for 12V Batteries):
Recommended charger: We recommend using a 14.6V battery charger specifically designed for LiFePO4 batteries.
Charging recommendations:
Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.6V ± 0.2V
Recommended Charging Current:
20A (0.2C): Charges the battery to 100% capacity in approximately 5 hours.
50A (0.5C): Charges the battery to around 97% capacity in approximately 2 hours (faster charging, slightly lower capacity).
Overall, WattCycle LiFePO4 batteries offer you the flexibility to choose the charging method that best suits your needs.
Q6: How long to charge WattCycle 12V 100Ah MINI Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery?
A6:
We recommend using a 14.6V battery charger specifically designed for this battery.
Charging recommendations:
1) Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.6V ± 0.2V
2) Recommended Charging Current: 20A (0.2C)
Charges the battery to 100% capacity in approximately 5 hours.
Q7: What is the maximum number of WattCycle 12V 100Ah MINI Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery connected in series or parallel?
A7:
Expand your power options! You can connect up to four (4) WattCycle 12V 100Ah lithium batteries in series or parallel configurations (denoted as 4S or 4P). This allows you to increase the voltage (series) or capacity (parallel) of your battery system to meet your specific needs.
For safe and optimal performance, please follow these connection guidelines:
1) Brand: Only connect WattCycle brand batteries (ensure compatibility).
2) Type: All batteries must be lithium type.
Voltage: All batteries must have the same voltage (12V in this case).
3) Capacity: All batteries must have the same capacity (100Ah).
4) BMS: Ensure all batteries have the same Battery Management System (BMS).
5) Purchase Date: Ideally, connect batteries purchased within 3-6 months of each other (for similar performance characteristics).
Not following these guidelines could damage your batteries.
We recommend consulting a qualified professional for assistance with battery connection.
Q8: What is the maximum output energy I can get?
A8:
20.80kWh.
With 4S4P, this allows you to quadruple the voltage (series) and capacity (parallel) of your battery system for maximum output energy.
Then the maximum output energy you get is equal to 20.80kWh. (12.8V*4*100Ah*4=20.80kWh)
